"പണ്ട് അപ്പൻ അമ്മക്ക് എന്തെങ്കിലും വാങ്ങി കൊടുക്കും. വർഷത്തിൽ ഒന്നോ രണ്ടോ തവണ, സാരിയാവും, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നെറ്റിയാവും. ഈ ഡ്രസ്സ് എല്ലാം എടുത്ത് ഒരുമിച്ചു നോക്കിയപ്പോൾ ഇതിൽ ഒരു കോമൺ ഫാക്ടർ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു. എല്ലാത്തിനും ഒരു പച്ച ഷെയ്ഡ്.
കടും പച്ച, ഇളം പച്ച, കുറച്ചൂടെ ഇളം പച്ച. അതിലും കുറച്ച് കടും, രണ്ടിന്റെയും ഇടകയ്ക്കുള്ള പച്ച.
താൻ അറിയാതെ പച്ചയെ സ്നേഹിച്ച ഒരു സൈക്കോയായിരുന്നു അപ്പൻ.
അത് മനസ്സിൽ കിടന്നത് കൊണ്ടാവണം. ഞാൻ മേടിക്കുന്ന എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കളിലും ഒരു പച്ച കയറിക്കൂടി. കടയിൽ നിന്ന് ഒരു ചീപ്പ് വാങ്ങിയാൽ അത് പച്ച..
ഇടയ്ക്ക് ഞാൻ pretend ചെയ്യുകയാണ്, പച്ചയോട് എനിക്ക് അടുപ്പം ഇല്ലന്ന് തോന്നി. പകരം ഒരു കളർ വേണമല്ലോ. എന്റെ അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ പച്ചകഴിഞ്ഞാൽ എന്നെ ഏറ്റവും ത്രസ്സിപ്പിച്ചത് *നീല* യാണ്.

The civilized *adult part* in me has this answer. The desperate *kid part* in me, questions my mind that ''You chose a random color based on nothing other than jumping on a bandwagon to answer a silly question for the sake of having a favorite color. If blue was your favorite color wouldn’t you know the reason?"
The kid part desperately wanted to say 'Yes this is right',
but the civilized adult part said 'No, stop your shit, you said the answer in first two paragraphs'
